The Greenhouse
At the Grove, we understand our children are the future of our church and of humanity. It is our fervent hope that our children become sincere followers of Jesus Christ. Toward that end, we emphasize worship, biblical teaching and loving community as the key components of The Greenhouse ministry.

The Greenhouse provides an environment that is conducive to spiritual growth. Like the farmer that tills the soil, fertilizes the ground, and plants the seeds, our desire is to plant the good seed of God's Word in children's minds and hearts, and we trust that God will use His word to accomplish His purposes in their lives.

The Greenhouse exists to partner with parents in encouraging their children's spritual growth. We know that the most important influence on children is their parents and family. In that light, we strongly encourage parents to pursue the discipleship of their own children at home through Bible reading and instruction, scripture memorization, prayer, family worship and more. A good way to start is to discuss the week's Greenhouse lesson at home during the week.

Greenhouse FAQ

Dates of Children's Worship Gathering Attendance:

All of our elementary-aged children (kindergarteners through 5th graders) attend the first 35 to 40 minutes of the worship gathering with their parents each week. Then they are dismissed to their Greenhouse classes for the remainder of the time. On the dates indicated below, the kids in the age group(s) indicated will attend the entire worship service with their parents.

April 27th - Elementary in Worship
June 22nd - Pre School and Elementary in Worship
July 27th - Pre School and Elementary
August 31st - Elemtary in Worship
October 5th - Elementary in Worship
November 2nd - Elementary in Worship
December 24th - Family Christmas Service
