Charlie Loften - Lead Pastor

Hi! I'm Charlie and I've been the lead pastor at The Grove Church since 2010.  I am married to Heidi and we have 3 amazing daughters—Maylee, Lauren and Laylah.  I absolutely love teaching the Bible and helping people find God’s plan for their lives to be used to do awesome things for Him. I am also, hands-down, Razorback Basketball’s number ONE fan, and spend way too much time listening to 80’s music and watching the same movies over and over again!

Mark Freeman - Executive Pastor

I am originally from southwest AR and attended college in Arkadelphia.  I married my high school sweetheart, Terri in 1997 and together we have lived in fifteen different homes, in nearly as many cities, to do all kinds of things we felt Jesus leading us toward.  Terri and I have four beautiful children named Caleb, Brennen, Jack, and Darcy.  I LOVE dating Terri, watching the kids activities, playing disc golf, traveling, and drinking lots of coffee!

Kanya Carlson - children's ministry director

I was born and raised in Springdale, Ar - Go Bulldogs (there was only one high school back in the day)! I did not grow up in church and didn't become a Christian until my senior year of high school. I got married to my high school sweetheart, Ty in 2006 and lived on the JBU campus until he finished school in 2008 and moved back to Springdale that summer. We started attending the Grove in 2009 and have been committed ever since.

I came on staff at the Grove in February 2017 as the Children's Ministry director.  I have always had a heart for children and worked with children in nearly every job I have ever had.

I became a stay at home mom when our 3rd child was born in 2015 and have loved getting to have that time with my kids!

As a family, we enjoy creating made up adventures, game nights, and the boys are always up for some video games with Dad!

In my free time I enjoy having coffee dates with friends and even the occasional TV show (in particular a certain dating show that involves roses). So, next time on "getting to know me" it's going to be the most dramatic episode yet! (Probably not but I so hope you have gotten to know a little more about me!)

Cass Harris - Worship pastor

Music has always been the way I connect to the world and Jesus. I've been in some kind of band since 198errrr.... for a while and began playing guitar for the Grove in 2000. I grew up in the church, but had come to the conclusion that I would probably never work at one. I agreed to join the Grove staff in 2013 only to fill a gap during a transition, and ended up loving it and staying. I am the worship pastor. My biggest musical influences are Tom Petty and Neil Young. I love Johnny Cash and a little Sturgill Simpson, have a heart for the broken hearted, and love how music has a way of bringing us all together. I love living life with Brandi, my beautiful wife and our three kids! I also enjoy songwriting, cooking, working with wood, and am building a house in my spare time

Luke Schafer - Youth Ministry director

I moved to Fayetteville in 2010 to attend the University of Arkansas, Woo Pig! I also met my wife, Brooke, while attending the university. We individually declared our faith and obedience in Christ during our freshman year. Since then, God has given us both a passion for students. We desire to see them know Jesus and follow Him whole heartedly. Brooke is currently teaching and coaching at Fayetteville High School. Also, we enjoy hanging out with students and friends, and we love playing with our cats, Fred and Albus.

Sarah Gray - Assimilation & Serve Teams Lead

I am the wife of Colby, who can be found on stage playing guitar during worship, and mother to Micah who attends FHS, plays basketball, and is part of the marching band. I was born and raised in Columbia, MO which means my family is loyal to the  Mizzou Tiger! I graduated from Columbia College, and my family moved to Fayetteville in the summer of 2013 and have attended The Grove Church since April 2014. In my free time I am likely listening to live music or attending any event on the Fayetteville square.

Britt Ivey - Finance director

I am originally from Clarksville, AR and moved to Fayetteville in 2002 to go to the University of Arkansas.  I met my husband, Zanas Ivy, here and we have 2 daughters, Julia and Adelaide.  We had been looking for a church in 2013, when friends invited us to The Grove.   We loved the message and the love we felt from the people of the church!  I am super excited be able to serve the Lord through The Grove finances!  As a family we enjoy being outside, doing jiu-jitsu and reading the Word together.  I also love reading fiction books, cooking, and making wreaths.

Zanas "Z" IvyFacilities Manager

I was born and raised in Memphis, TN and have lived in Fayetteville for the last 11 years.  I am married to Britt Ivy and we have two beautiful daughters, Julia and Adelaide.  I love Jesus and Jiu-jitsu.  I am in charge of maintenance for The Grove worship facilities.

Leslie PostAdministration

I’ve lived in Northwest Arkansas for most of my life, attended U of A and decided to stick around Fayetteville. I married my husband Gregg in 2012 and we welcomed our son Owen in December 2016. We watch a lot of sports at our house, especially if it’s the Razorbacks. I love being behind the scenes and hate attention being on me, including this bio!
