Our Leadership Structure

At The Grove, we believe that healthy leadership requires both spiritual oversight and diligent stewardship. To ensure our church is led with wisdom and integrity, our leadership is divided into two distinct boards that work in harmony to pursue our mission: Elders and Trustees. While their focus areas differ, both teams are committed to one goal: inviting Northwest Arkansas to know Jesus, pursue meaningful relationships, and share His hope with the world.

The Elder Board

Spiritual Oversight & Shepherding

The Elders are responsible for the spiritual health and theological direction of The Grove. Following the biblical model of shepherding, this team focuses on the "soul" of the church. Their primary roles include:

  • Theological Integrity: Ensuring our teaching remains rooted in the Gospel and the authority of Scripture.

  • Spiritual Care: Praying for our church body and providing pastoral guidance for individuals and families in our community.

  • Vision & Alignment: Discerning the spiritual direction of our ministries and ensuring our activities align with our mission to make disciples.

The Trustee Board

Financial & Administrative Stewardship

The Trustees serve as the stewards of the resources God has entrusted to The Grove. This team focuses on the "systems" and sustainability of the church, ensuring we operate with excellence and transparency. Their primary roles include:

  • Financial Oversight: Managing the church budget, overseeing audits, and ensuring that every dollar given is used effectively for ministry.

  • Administrative Integrity: Developing policies and organizational structures that protect the church and its members.

  • Facility & Asset Management: Overseeing our physical building and future renovations to ensure our space effectively serves our mission.
